It took me awhile, but I realized recently that my account name has a typo. Its missing an "N"... and now it bugs me to no end. So i'm probably going to be moving to a new account with a shorter, catchier, and correctly spelled name. Though i'll miss some of my (few) achievements but I have confidence i can start over with much more success.

Some day they should add an edit account name button, i'd even be willing to PAY to do so but oh well. As soon as i figure out a new name i'll be switching to it.

Just happened to glance at one of my own images size and was shocked when I saw it was over 2000x3000. That's ridiculously huge... I mean insanely large for the internet. Photoshop was preset to scan at 300-400 DPI... damn you photoshop... Well I already have nearly 50 images up so I may say screw it and just keep scanning these obscenely large images.

Also thanks to manga-template.deviantart.com/ I'm going to start cranking off some comics. Mostly a bunch of single page random stories, maybe a short web comic if I can hook up with some of my writer friends and the occasional manga attempt using my own stories.

So I've started to use Copic Markers and I'm much better with them than colored pencils (Thankfully, since these things cost a fortune) however i still have absolutely no clue what I'm doing with them and I'm fairly sure it shows...

My 4 latest entries, as some have noticed, have all been Darkstalkers. After playing Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 and seeing the Darkstalkers characters sweet memories of playing the old arcade games came back and I went out and spent damn near $100 collecting games and comics of it. I almost bought a poster of the characters then I stopped and said "I'm an artist! I can TOTALLY draw a poster!" So now I'm trying to do my first professional level (or what I consider pro) piece featuring Felicia and Jon Talbain which should be finished in time for an Anime Con. I have hopes that this will not only bring me some recognition but maybe a few bucks, unlikely but there's that slim chance and hey, can't make a shot if you don't take it right? Even if I get unlucky it'll still look cool on my wall.
